MARION STATION, MD.- An accidental fire in Marion Station destroyed a garage Thursday.

The State Fire Marshal says the fire started in a detached garage on Charles Cannon Road around 7 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The fire marshal estimates the damage to be around $35,000.

It took 25 firefighters from the Marion Volunteer Fire Department about 20 minutes to get the blaze under control.
