Suspect Arrested for Murder After Man Dies at Royal Farms in Onley

ONLEY, VA - An Accomack County jury has found a 21-year-old Painter man guilty of 1st degree murder for a 2021 shooting at a Royal Farms in Onley. 

Xzaviyor Snead was arrested on murder charges in June of 2021 after the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Royal Farms on reports of a shooting. The victim, David Anthony McCain, 30, of Onancock, was found dead in his car in the Royal Farms parking lot. 

On Friday, November 17th, the Accomack County Circuit Court jury found Snead guilty of murder in the first degree as well as use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to court records.

Snead’s sentencing is currently scheduled for February 2024.
