DELAWARE- Bayhealth has unveiled its new mobile care unit.

Bayhealth says, the “Health on the Move” facility is designed and built from the ground up, featuring a private examination room, bathroom, and two screening booths. The 36-foot rolling clinic will offer health screenings, vaccinations, and educational resources. On the outside of the transformed Recreational Vehicle, there is an extendable awning.

The mobile unit aims to bring innovative healthcare to underserved and hard-to-reach communities throughout Kent and Sussex Counties.

Officials say the new facility will allow the hospital to offer on-site occupational health services like hearing tests, physical exams, lab work, and echocardiograms.
