DELAWARE - The Delaware Department of Transportation is asking for Delawareans’ thoughts on a Long Range Transportation Plan to have it updated in 2024.

The Long Range Transportation Plan, according to the Department, is meant to identify an array of goals, policies, and priorities that will serve as a framework and guide for DelDOT investments and planning over the next two decades.

DelDOT is currently in the process of updating the plan, and ask Delaware residents for comments and suggestions to help them provide a state transportation system that helps connect all.

The Plan is updated every 5 years but may be changed based on shifts in Federal, State, or local funding.

DelDOT says voicing your opinion on the Plan is an effective way to help decide what types of transportation projects receive funding and are built in the future.

You can share your thoughts on transportation priorities and what you think DelDot should consider at the link here.

More information on the Long Range Transportation Plan can also be found here.
