MOAA Dover Chapter

DOVER, DE - The Dover Chapter of Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) recently celebrated both the holidays and their many successes over the past year.

On December 21 at a local pizza establishment, the Dover Chapter gathered to celebrate numerous accomplishments, including being named one of the best in the MOAA national organization. The Chapter says they also earned recognition for their newsletter and website

MOAA says they push for national and local laws that benefit veterans and military members, as well as all military components and PUblic Health. The Dover Chapter also supported increasing paid leave for state government workers who served in the reserve component. The group also says they awarded two scholarships to JROTC seniors this year.

The Dover Chapter of MOAA says they meet every third Thursday of September to May.
