Murder suicide

HARRINGTON, Del. - Delaware State Police have launched an investigation into an apparent murder-suicide after the bodies of two men were found in a ditch outside of Harrington on Wednesday.

Investigators say they were called to Whiteleysburg Road on reports of two unresponsive people in a ditch on Aug. 26 around 3 a.m. There, police found a 62-year-old man with a gunshot wound and a 36-year-old man who had apparently shot himself, according to DSP. 

Both men died at the scene, and their names are currently being withheld. 

Authorities say the investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Delaware State Police at 302-741-2859.
