ACCOMACK CO., VA - Accomack County Public Schools has announced early dismissal for students throughout the county due to inclement weather.

The announcement comes as Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 makes its way to the Eastern Shore with the possibility of becoming Tropical Storm Ophelia. 

Accomack County Public Schools says Elementary Schools are to dismiss at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Middle and High Schools are set to dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

All after-school activities have also been canceled for Friday.
