FRANKFORD, DE - The Delaware State Police have arrested the former treasurer of a local Girl Scout Troop on charges of theft during her tenure as treasurer.

According to police, Kelly Raab, 52, of Frankford, is accused of issuing and cashing fraudulent checks while she held her position within the Girl Scouts. In addition, police say Raab made unauthorized transactions by card. 

The Delaware State Police say the charges and arrest come after a 10-month investigation. In total, Raab’s alleged theft was over $12,000 from January 2018 to November 2022 according to authorities.

Raab has been charged with Theft over $1,500, a felony. She turned herself into police on October 12th and was released on her own recognizance following her arraignment.
