GRASONVILLE, DE.- A fire in Grasonville Monday morning has been ruled an accident.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal says a fire broke out above the living room ceiling of a one-story home on Grasonville Cemetery Road around 7 a.m.

Officials say it took about an hour for 30 firefighters from the Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department to get the flames under control.

No injuries were reported.

The fire caused an estimated $125,000 in damage.

Investigators say the failure of the chimney flue started the fire.

Those who live in the home were displaced and are being helped by the American Red Cross.
