The Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, Iran, is now a memorial for children and others killed in the Feb. 28 attacks that sparked the war with the United States and Israel. Iranian officials have reported over 100 student deaths. The Trump administration has not accepted responsibility or released findings, though an AP investigation found evidence that at least one U.S. missile hit the school. Recent U.S. strikes have renewed attention to the area. Calls have emerged to preserve the school ruins as a historical record. The AP visited the badly damaged two-story building whose classrooms remain frozen mid-lesson.
