Milton Police Help Local Girl Help Others

MILTON, Md. - Milton police are helping a 6-year-old girl on a mission.

Faryn Adams is trying to collect 1,000 packs of crayons to give to children with serious medical conditions that keep them in the hospital.

Faryn asked the Milton Police Department to partner with her after she noticed them collecting toy donations for A.I. Dupont Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.

It's an effort Milton POlice Chief Robert Longo said he was happy to join.

"We believe it's a great cause. Anything to do to help children is very personal to me and I believe all the officers here," said Longo.

The crayons can be dropped off at the Milton Police Department Monday-Friday between 8:30 am and 5 pm.

The drive runs through Feb. 22.
