Police Investigating Shooting at Pocomoke City Walmart

POCOMOKE CITY, Md.- Police are looking for a man they said was involved in a shooting in the parking lot of the Pocomoke City Walmart that left one person injured.

Pocomoke City police the incident happened Monday at the store, located  on Old Snow Hill Road.

At the store, police said they found one victim in the parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound in the leg. The victim was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police said the suspect reportedly drove off in a black sedan. Police described the suspect as a white male, about 6-feet-tall, and 250 pounds. He goes by the street name of “Wreck," according to police. 

The investigation is ongoing. The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation is helping with the investigation.

Police said there is a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
