money

EASTON, Md.- The Maryland Department of Transportation is asking for grant money to help enhance Easton neighborhood access on Rt. 50.

MDOT says they have requested $3.3 million for a project to add new sidewalks, provide raised landscaped medians, and install new pedestrian signals at Rt. 328 and Rt. 331 on Rt. 50, from Dutchman’s Lane to Lomax Street.

Officials say these enhancements will increase access to essential destinations in a reportedly disadvantaged area.
