Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021, shortly after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She produces our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won three first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association since joining Delmarva's News Leader.
LEWES, DE.- A crossing at Cape Henlopen State Park is slated to be closed throughout the Memorial Day weekend.
State Park officials say drive-on access at Navy Crossing will not be accessible. The surf fishing beach which is typically available for reservations, is inaccessible as the beach is too narrow, leaving insufficient space for cars on the beach.
Walk-on access will still be available.
