DOVER, Del. --- German discount grocery chain Lidl opened a new store in Dover this week, adding another big chain to a stretch of North Dupont Highway that has seen significant development in recent months.
The new store opened on Wednesday at 150 North Dupont Highway. The chain markets itself as lower-cost option for shoppers to other grocery stores and supermarkets.
The food market is located just up the road from a recently-opened Aldi location at the Capital Station shopping center on U.S. Route 13.
