EASTON, Md.- A 60-year-old Easton man is behind bars on possession of child porn charges, police said Friday.
Police said that on Wednesday, detectives with the department's Criminal Investigations Division assigned to the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, received information about an internet user who was in possession of child pornography. Police said the investigation led to identifying the user living at a home on the 29000 block of Golton Drive in Easton.
Police said that on Thursday, a search and seizure warrant was executed and the internet user was identified as Robert White. According to police, numerous electronics were seized during the search and seizure warrants. A forensic examination of the electronic equipment is continuing with additional charges possible, police said.
White was taken into custody and with three counts of possession of child pornography. He was later transported to the Talbot County Detention Center and held pending a hearing.
