Pocomoke Police Find 4 Loaded Handguns During Traffic Stop; 3 Arrested

POCOMOKE, Md. - The Pocomoke City Police Department said three men are facing firearm-related charges after they were pulled over for speeding and were found to be in possession of four handguns. 

It happened Thursday evening in the area of Route 13 and Brantley Road. According to police, officers pulled a car over with Virginia tags after radar showed the car was traveling 82 mph in a 55 mph zone.

During the traffic stop, the driver told police he didn't have a license. In an ensuing investigation, police found a passenger had a gun in his waistband. A second weapon was found in plain sight before police found two more handguns. 

Pocomoke PD said all four handguns were loaded with a round in the chamber. Police also found two white face masks, gloves, and target practice posters.

All three men in the car were arrested.

Rashid Bynum, 24 of Chesapeake, VA,  Khalia David, 24 of Portsmouth, VA, and Christopher Parker, 24 Portsmouth, VA, were all charged with similar offenses. They're being held without bond.
