WHITEHAVEN, Md.- The Whitehaven Ferry will be closed for an undetermined time for a transmission issue, Wicomico County officials announced Tuesday.
The Wicomico County Roads Department is working to get it repaired and back in service as quickly as possible, officials said.
The ferry, which crosses the Wicomico River, connects Wicomico County with Somerset County.
