SALISBURY, MD - The Salisbury Zoo has announced they will be closed for a second day due to flooding from the storm Sunday night into Monday morning.

The Zoo announced their closure this morning, December 18th. On Monday evening, the Zoo then announced they would also be closed Tuesday, sharing photos on Facebook that showed significant water within the Zoo’s premises.

The Zoo says the animals are safe and being cared for, but the paths in the Zoo have been flooded and pose a safety hazard to visitors.

The Salisbury Zoo assures they will keep neighbors updated as to when they can reopen.
