DelDOT reduced the speed limit from 45 mph to 35 mph on Route 24 (Millsboro Highway) from Delaware Avenue to Lewis Road and Mumford Road.
MILLSBORO, DE– DelDOT approved a speed limit reduction for a stretch of road following a traffic engineering study.
The Millsboro Police Department says it requested the study to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians.
The change reduces the speed limit from 45 mph to 35 mph on Route 24 (Millsboro Highway) from Delaware Avenue to Lewis Road and Mumford Road.
Police say newly-installed speed monitoring signs in the area are officially operational.
