Prostitution Sting Graphic

DOVER, DE - The Dover Police Department has arrested two men in connection with law enforcement's ongoing efforts to crack down on prostitution within the city.

Police say they conducted an operation at a Dover hotel on March 24 specifically targeting prostitution. As a result of the operation, police arrested Matthew Boone, 49, of Barclay, MD and William Thomas, 31, of Dover.

Both Boone and Thomas were charged with patronizing a prostitute and released on a criminal summons.

Dover Police say their efforts to deter prostitution are part of their ongoing efforts to address quality of life issues within the city and throughout Delaware.
