FRANKFORD, DE.- State police identified the man who was killed while riding a four-wheeler Friday night in Frankford.

Delaware State Police say they were called to Frankford School Drive for a report of shots fired around 1 a.m. Friday. Troopers say when they arrived, they found 22-year-old Gabriel Dorman and a 20-year-old man, both from Millsboro, lying in the roadway near an SUV and a four-wheeler.

Investigators say, for reasons under investigation, the SUV and four-wheeler crashed into each other and the two men were thrown off the four-wheeler.

Dorman reportedly died at the scene. The 20-year-old, who has not been identified, was taken to an area trauma hospital where he is in critical condition. 

Two people inside the SUV, a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman both from Frankford, were not injured.

The Homicide Unit and Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit are investigating this incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective A.
