REHOBOTH BEACH, DE - The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash in a Rehoboth Beach Walmart parking lot Monday morning.

Investigators say a woman was standing behind a pickup truck guiding it backwards to load mulch on March 31, just before 8 a.m. at the Walmart on Rehoboth Mall Boulevard. According to police, the Dodge truck reversed into the woman and pinned her against the building.

The woman, a 66-year-old, died at the scene. The driver of the Dodge, a 76-year-old Rehoboth Beach man, was not injured.

On Tuesday, April 1, police identified the victim as Antonia Walton, of Rehoboth Beach.

Delaware State Police continue to investigate the incident and ask any witnesses to contact them at 302-703-3264.
