2024 White Marlin Open

The 2024 White Marlin Open saw 318 boats and over 3,000 contestants vying for a share of the $8.59 million prize pool, with the top individual prize reaching $3.7 million. 

OCEAN CITY, MD– The world's biggest bill fishing tournament returns to Maryland's Eastern Shore in August. 

The 52nd Annual White Marlin Open will take place August 4-8 alongside the family-friendly Marlin Fest in Ocean City's inlet.

The competition welcomes anglers of all ages and experience levels, offering over 50 different entry levels including a newly expanded Small Boat Division. 

Pre-registration costs $1,400 until June 1, before increasing to $1,700. In-person registration will be available Aug. 2-3 at Harbour Island Marina before a virtual Captains' Meeting Aug. 3. 

Anglers can weigh in their catches daily from 4 to 9:15 p.m. at Harbour Island Marina. 

Daily weigh-ins are free to the public and will also be live streamed each day of the competition.
