To minimize impaired driving during the holiday, the Office of Highway Safety will be offering $20 vouchers for Lyft and Uber. Officials say those vouchers will be available from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 at MySoberRides.com. Those vouchers can be used between 12 p.m. on July 4 and 3 a.m. on July 5.

Maryland travelers are expected to be very busy for the Independence Day holiday weekend. AAA is projecting that over 977,400 Marylanders will travel 50 miles or more over the holiday period, which includes June 30-July 4.
