OCEAN CITY, Md. -- As the Fourth of July weekend approaches, Ocean City is preparing for more than just fireworks. With a sunny forecast on tap, thousands are expected to flock to the beach, making it one of the busiest weekends of the year for the Eastern Shore.
Fourth of July in Lewes is back to what it should be after the pandemic canceled all of its events last year. Seventeen participants rode the canal to present their works of patriotism to the visitors and the judges.

ON JULY 4 THE RED, WHITE & BOOM FIREWORKS ARE BACK IN SALISBURY. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC LAST YEAR, THE EVENT WAS CANCELED. HOWEVER, PEOPLE ARE EXCITED TO SEE THE NIGHT SKY LIGHT UP AGAIN. THE FREE EVENT WILL BE HELD AT the JAMES M. BENNETT HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM. The gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks show starts at 9:15 p.m.
