Along Coastal Highway in Lewes, a small tent community has sprung up, offering not just shelter, but a chance at a fresh start for those in need.

The Dewey Beach Town Council will discuss the possibility of creating regulations for tents and canopies on their beaches at their upcoming town council meeting on Friday, October 18th. 

MILFORD, Del.- Displaced homeless people in town are in search of a new place to stay. They have moved out of the "tent city" they called home for years. 

With the help of volunteers and state agencies, Kent County Code Purple will distribute truckloads worth of supplies to those in need.
