BERLIN, Md. - A Berlin mother of two, soon to be three, is hoping her husband, who has been missing since last Wednesday, returns home safely.
Michele Mudge said her husband, Gregory Dyess has been missing since November 4th.
"He got up in the morning when his alarm went off like he does every morning to get ready for work. He decided to lay back down with me. He said he wanted to hold me and the baby before he left. And he got up, got ready for work. I assumed he was on his way to work. Later that day he texts his boss and said, 'hey, I can't make it in.' That's the last anyone has heard from him," Mudge said Friday.
Berlin Police have entered Dyess' name into the National Crime Information Center as a missing person. Mudge said all her of husband's belongings are still at home and him disappearing like this is something that has never happened before in their relationship. Mudge added that none of Dyess' family or friends have heard from him either. Also, according to Mudge, his phone has been off, or the battery on his phone has been dead, since Friday.
It's been over a week of no good news for Mudge who is trying to stay strong for the ones she loves
"I have to be strong for the kids. Some days I am strong. Other days I go hide in the bathroom. It just depends on the moment," Mudge said.
A facebook page was started by Mudge to spread the word about Dyess' disappearance. The page is approaching 475 likes as of Friday afternoon and Mudge said it has seen thousands of views. Her hope is that someone can find the page and help find her missing husband.
"Just come home. We miss you. The boys miss you. I miss you. We all miss you. We're worried about you. We're just waiting for you to come home, whatever the situation is."
