EASTON, Md.- An 18-year-old Easton man is being held without bond after being charged with 10 counts of possessing child pornography.
According to Easton police, the investigation began in August when detectives, who are part of the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, received information about an internet user who uploaded an image of child pornography online.
Further investigation led to the identification of Lakeevis D. Harrion’s home and a search and seizure warrant was obtained.
Police said that on Thursday, detectives, with the assistance of Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division investigators and Talbot County Sheriff’s Office investigators, executed a search and seizure warrant at Harrion’s home and identified him as the aforementioned internet user.
Harrion was taken before a Talbot County District Court Commissioner where he was held without bond in the Talbot County Detention Center.
Police say this investigation is ongoing with additional charges possible at a later date.
