DOVER, Del.- Dover police are investigating a crash that left one man dead late Friday night.
According to the Dover Police Department, around 11 p.m. 65-year-old Jarvis James was driving northbound near the 300 block of North Governors Avenue. Police say Jarvis struck two parked vehicles on the shoulder, continued northbound, then crossed into the southbound lane and struck a southbound Jeep. Police say the Jeep's occupants were taken to the hospital where they are in serious but stable condition.
Police say based on early evidence, it is believed that Jarvis suffered a medical emergency while driving that caused him to be incapacitated and potentially caused his death. The crash remains under investigation.
