EASTON, Md.- Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office responded to crash involving a Talbot County Public Schools Bus and a Suburban Propane truck.
It happened around 3:40 p.m. near Bruffs Island Road and Gregory Road.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the school bus driven by Brenda Stover, 58 of Greensboro, and the propane truck driven by Duane Mills, 49 of Easton, were both traveling on Bruffs Island Road in opposite directions.
When the two vehicles passed each other, deputies say the lug nut from the propane trucks front driver side wheel struck the rear driver side tire of the school bus causing it to go flat.
There was no other damage to the vehicles. Deputies say 12 elementary students were on the bus. No one was hurt, and the kids were moved to another bus and taken home.
There were no traffic citations issued to either driver.
