NEWARK, Del.- The Sussex Central Golden Knights are Delaware's Division One Football state champions.
Sussex Central was the third seed, up against the fifth seed Wilmington school Salesianum.
The win was Sussex Central's first state championship, after reaching the championship match four times in the past.
The Golden Knights took home the trophy with a final score of 33-7.
