Centreville Pole Barn Fire

CENTREVILLE. MD - The Office of the State Fire Marshal in Maryland is investigating a fire that tore through a pole barn in Centreville this morning. 

The Fire Marshal's Office says the fire occurred at around 7 a.m. Friday, October 20th on Sparks Mill Road and was discovered by a passerby. It took 25 members of the Goodwiil Volunteer Fire Company about an hour to control the flames.

Damage to the 40x60 structure and its contents is estimated at $100,000.

The Fire Marshal says the cause of the fire is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-822-7609.
