FRANKFORD, DE.- A Frankford man has been charged with murder following a four-wheeler crash that killed a man last week.
Delaware State Police say on November 24th, two men were riding a four-wheeler on Frankford School Road in Frankford when they were hit by an SUV and thrown off.
Gabriel Dorman, 22, of Millsboro died at the scene. A 20-year-old man was treated and released from an area hospital for his injuries.
DSP originally said that there were reports of shots fired at a nearby home. Troopers say this was unfounded. Jeremiah Handy was identified as a suspect and the only person inside the SUV, according to officers.
Troopers say Jeremiah Handy was arrested on Friday at his home.
He is charged with:
- Murder First Degree (Felony)
- Attempted to Commit Murder First Degree (Felony)
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (Felony) – 2 counts
Handy was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $850,000 cash bond.
