Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021, shortly after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She produces our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won three first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association since joining Delmarva's News Leader.
Worcester County Recreation and Parks
BISHOPVILLE, MD- A Worcester County park is set to temporarily close for a special event.
County officials say the Isle of Wight Park on St. Martin's Neck Road in Bishopville will be closed to the public beginning Thursday. Officials tell us the closure is related to the Ocean City Air Show.
The park is set to reopen to the public on June 16th.
