* Until 1115 PM EDT.

* At 909 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 nm south of Nomini Bay to near Yeocomico River to
near Smith Point, moving northeast at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

* Locations impacted include...
Yeocomico River, Breton Bay, Saint Clements Bay, Smith Island,
Piney Point, Deep Hole, Mouth Of The Potomac River, Southwest
Middle Grounds, Ewell, Point Lookout, Tall Timbers, Tangier Sound,
Coltons Point, Nomini Bay, Coles Point, Saint George Island, Point
No Point, The Targets, Richland Point Buoy, and White Point Beach.

A few thunderstorms may develop this evening, and produce a few
lightning strikes. Winds gusts of 20 to 25 knots are possible in a
few places as well, both in the vicinity of thunderstorms, and in
the wake of a backdoor cold front. Mariners should be ready to
seek safe harbor.
