A wet and windy storm is approaching Delmarva today.
Coastal Flood Advisories and Wind Advisories are posted for all coastal areas, with Flood Watches elsewhere in Dorchester, Wicomico, and Somerset Counties.
Sunday will start off mostly cloudy with some fog and mist, but showers will likely develop by lunchtime, becoming more widespread and developing into a windswept rain by mid to late afternoon.
As with last week's storm, the main threats will come from the heavy rain, which could cause localized flooding in poorly drained areas, and the gusty winds, which could gust to 40 mph or more at times, causing some downed tree limbs and isolated power outages.
The latest guidance on the storm's track suggests that the heaviest rain will fall along the Chesapeake Bay. However, all of Delmarva should expect at least 1 to 3 inches of rain, with isolated higher amounts possible.
Gusty rain will continue into Monday morning with a chance of showers in the afternoon.
