Salisbury city officials are advising that road repairs are being done today, Thursday, July 31st, 2025 in the 200 block of Canal Park Drive. 

DelDOT announced an upcoming public workshop to seek community input on a proposed roundabout at Zoar Road and Peterkins Road. 

The City of Salisbury says Benny Street will close from Naylor Street to Marshall Street starting Wednesday. Work is expected to take two days, according to a press release.

Columbia Drive will close between Northwood Drive and Milton Drive from July 14 to 18 as crews will complete utility tie-in work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The City of Salisbury says crews are currently working to repair a sinkhole in the 2400 block of East Naylor Mill Road.

DelDOT officials have announced a new schedule for lane closure hours at SR 1 and SR 16. Those new hours will take effect Thursday, May 1st, and run through September 30th, according to officials. 

Repaving work along Rehoboth Avenue, initially scheduled to resume Sunday night, has been delayed due to rainy weather. The work had been halted in December because of early cold temperatures.

Maryland's Department of Transportation says drivers should expect single-lane closures from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. as crews perform milling, resurfacing and restriping throughout May and June in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties.

Work on a busy road in Rehoboth Beach is set to begin in April.
