Delaware State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Greenwood on Wednesday.

The Dover Police Department arrested a 61-year-old man, ending a barricade situation on Stoney Drive Wednesday afternoon.

The Dover Police Department say they have arrested Traymere Stevens, a 29-year-old man from Magnolia, following a barricade situation on January 6th. WBOC was on scene during the incident.

A Search and Seizure Warrant was obtained to allow police to apprehend Dukes, which was executed around 11:57 p.m. that night, police say. After breaching the apartment, the Drone Unit deployed an interior drone, which located Dukes laying face down on a bed inside the apartment. Officers spoke with Dukes through the drone and ordered him to leave the apartment with his hands up, an order to which he complied.

A tense, 10-hour police standoff on Holmes Street left residents in the Stoney Creek neighborhood shaken and concerned for their safety after several hostages, including 6 children, were released from a home late Wednesday morning.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office was on the scene of a barricade situation Tuesday morning.

The Cambridge Police Department and multiple other law enforcement agencies were on the scene of a domestic shooting leading to a barricade situation last night that left one woman injured and one man dead. 

A Goldsboro man is behind bars on assault and related charges following a four-hour standoff with police on Monday afternoon.

Delaware State Police say they have filed charges against a 27-year-old Maryland man in connection with a domestic incident that led to him barricading himself inside a Delmar home on Monday morning.
