A man has been arrested after investigators say cocaine was found in a hidden compartment during a traffic stop.

Sussex County officials and the Delaware Department of Transportation are collaborating on studies aimed at improving traffic flow along two of the region’s busiest corridors, Routes 9 and 113.

Milford drivers may soon notice a brighter path along one of the city’s busiest and darkest roadways. The Milford City Council unanimously approved an agreement with the Delaware Department of Transportation to add new lighting along U.S. 113 between Airport Road and Del. 1, a stretch many say has been dangerously dark for years.

BERLIN, Md. -- Nearly $1 million has been stripped from the town of Berlin. The money would have been crucial in the town's efforts to bridge the gap over US Route 113. 

Millsboro town leaders held their inaugural DelDOT Committee meeting today, where they discussed plans to improve traffic congestion and safety around the town.

Milford's city council is expected to discuss and vote on a proposed red-light camera program at June 9th's council meeting. The program, led by the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), would monitor intersections for red-light violations. 

BERLIN, Md. -- Route 113 essentially splits Berlin in two, creating inequalities among people on the east and west sides. The town has taken strides in the past few months to eliminate the barrier for good. 

A vehicle collision involving a dump truck shut down Route 113 for several hours on Tuesday afternoon. 

DELDOT says Route 20 will be closed at Route 113 from May 13 to May 20.
